Jack Daly energizes Utah CEOs and business owners at our Vistage Utah All-City Event. On Thursday October 24, 2013, the Vistage Chair community here in Utah hosted our first annual Vistage All-City Event at Thanksgiving Point Gardens. There were over 125 in attendance with 116 being members and guests. The event was anchored by Keynote Speaker Jack Daly, a former Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award Winner, and former #10 on the Inc 500 CEO List for fast growing companies with over 50,000% growth in five years; simply phenomenal.
Other activities at the event included workshops on business related topics of interest to the group. I was fortunate to present my "Identifying Difference Making Top Talent." The opportunity to teach CEOs and business owners about the secrets of finding and capturing difference makers is a passion of mine.
Beyond meeting all the Vistage friends and guests, we had some nice raffle items that kept the suspense going throughout the day; prizes included a Microsoft Shuttle, iPod Mini, GoPro HD Camera, dinner for 2 at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, spa weekend for 2 at Entrada Resort and Spa in St. George. The event was a great success for our first event and I want to thank all of our Vistage community, members, and staff for support in hosting this first event.
